From the lockdown

Hello Everyone, Our April newsletter is coming out a little late as we have been busy making sure the salon and our amazing team are safe & secure. I hope that each and every one of you are keeping well and trying to make the best of this bad situation. I find keeping myself busy to be most helpful, so I have been ringing clients to rearrange appointments, delivering products to customers (more on this later), and trying to be more active on our Facebook and Instagram pages. For clients who have salon vouchers or The Price is Wight vouchers, please don't worry as we will be extending the expiry dates to make sure you don't miss out. If there is anything you need from us at all, please give us a call as our salon line is still open.

A hairstylists guide to beating COVID-19

If you're dealing with persistant coughs and sore throats, I recommend speaking to our incredible NHS however, if you're currently battling bad hair days, then it's time to mix things up a bit. We've had a few people requesting advice on how to create different looks to cover problem areas. Take a look at the video below for some helpful tips!

Still can't be tamed? While the salon has been shut, I've had to get a little bit more creative at home. Sometimes, your hair just won't cooperate and needs further assistance! So, it's time for home delivery service. To make sure our product customers could keep up with their regular treatments, We've been making some socially distant home deliveries. If you would like any of our products delivered, please give us a call.

Keep calm and mask it!

If you're looking for something to give yourself a bit of a pamper during lock down, then stop - you've found it! Hair masks can restore lacklustre hair in a single application, and will improve the condition of your hair condition over time. Also, if you're like me and have long hair or if you have hair that has been overly bleached, hair masks are packed full of active ingredients that will give your locks some nourishment!

Don't forget to wash your hands...and then moisturise!

This months tip is a skincare suggestion from our hair stylist team. As a hairstylist, our hands are always exposed to different products that dries out the skin. It goes without saying that we have to wash our hands frequently, so moisturising afterwards is key. This prevents skin irritation, and being stuck indoors is already hard enough without dermatitis!
