Summer is coming to an end but dry your eyes because we’re here to give you a head start on what are set to be the top trends this Autumn.
The Charlottes Academy hairstylists have put together what they believe are going to be the styles that keep on bringing the heat while the temperature outside starts to decline. The list features cuts to suit everyone with upcycled gems from the 60’s and 70’s that’ll keep you swinging until Christmas.
1. Big, Bold Fringes
Whether heavy blunt bangs or light, side hanging sweeps, Autumn 2020 is the season of the fringe.
2. Pixie Cuts
This iconic yet low maintenance cut is perfect for the post COVID world. This retro style is modernised with choppy layers that boost volume.
3. The ‘Shagadelic’ Shag
Probably our favourite for this Autumn the updated 70’s shag. The versatility of this style makes it work on both long and short hair types while remaining equally as glamourous.
4. The Collarbone Bob
If you want to keep things a bit longer then this could be the look for you this season. Keeping it simple with blunt ends and perhaps a few layers for a bit of added volume.
5. Choppy Layers
This timeless classic style has been a favourite among Hollywood actresses since it rose to stardom atop ‘Friends’ star Jennifer Aniston.
Adding some colour
We all know that one of the best things about Autumn are the beautiful colours we see changing all around us but this year, why leave it all to mother nature?
This season we want to introduce you to Luxelights...
Moving away from heavier block colours and dynamic contrasting shades Luxelights enriches the root area with a soft shadow effect and reveals natural highs and lows within the lengths and ends, giving a more natural look.
